Team Ipswich is about supporting and nurturing sports talent in the Ipswich area. The aim is simple - to ensure sports men and women who have the potential to become sporting heroes in 2012 and beyond, don’t miss out through lack of financial or other support.
There are several different ways that Team Ipswich can help. These are explained on the pages below:
Team Ipswich and its sponsors provide support for senior international athletes already representing Great Britain through the Team Ipswich Elite Squad.
Team Ipswich recognises and supports talented athletes, providing support to help them reach their potential in training and competition. There are two levels of assistance that athletes can apply for - Elite Athlete Support and Developing Athlete Support.
Team Ipswich Sports Foundation helps aspiring and talented athletes in Ipswich who need a helping hand to reach their potential. Grants are given to local athletes who are recognised as athletes of potential to be spent on costs associated with training or competition.
