Refurbishment programme
Ipswich Borough Council is investing £4million in Ipswich swimming.
Fore Street swimming pool was refurbished at the end of last year and reopened on 16th November 2009.
Phase 1 of the work at Crown Pools is nearing completion and the new reception and changing areas have reopened to the public. Further information about this work is available on our Pools Refurbishment page.
Swimming clubs
Team Ipswich Swimming (formerly Ipswich Swimming Club) train at Crown Pools every day. If you are interested in joining a swimming club, more information is available in our Sports Club Guide.
The Team Ipswich Sports Foundation may be able to offer further support for talented young swimmers.
