Ipswich has some of the best sporting facilities in the country, including centres of excellence for gymnastics, athletics and hockey.

Ipswich Borough Council owns and manages six sporting facilities under the Team Ipswich brand, providing many opportunties for people to take part in sport and activity. These facilities are:

• Crown Pools;
• Fore Street Baths;
• Gainsborough Sports and Community Centre;
• Whitton Sports and Community Centre;
• Northgate Sports Centre;
• Maidenhall Sports Centre.
