Ipswich Streetcats celebrate success

Congratulations to the Ipswich Streetcats under 14s basketball club who overcame the lack of a permanent home to romp home and take the Under 14 Roadshow Club title this season.

Despite having to wait patiently as their home court venue at St Alban's was renovated, the community basketball hub club based in Ipswich still enjoyed a fantastic season under Level 2 coach Kevin Brendish, resulting in finally taking the title.

The Tuesday evening basketball club is open to girls and boys in school years 7, 8 and 9 and welcomes new players. Ipswich Streetcats are also looking forward to receiving new Sport Unlimited funding in September which they can use to help attract new players.
