Girls football side joins the Suffolk Girls Football League

Chantry Grasshoppers FC's newly formed Under 11’s side have been accepted into the Suffolk Girls Football League. The new team will start playing in the 2010/2011 season, which begins in September.

The club are looking to bolster their squad and are keen to hear from any 9 or 10 year old girls who are interested in playing for the new team. Friendly trial sessions will be held on Sunday 27th June and Sunday 4th July at Chantry Sports Centre, from 10.30am to 12 noon.  Anyone attending will need training shoes and shinpads and a drink.

The club are keen to continually increase their female teams, to be on a par with the already popular boys leagues.
