Future Facilities

Team Ipswich is committed to working proactively to improve and develop sports provision in the town in order to meet changing needs and overcome identified shortfalls in sporting provision.

For example:

  • A brand new state of the art artificial turf pitch was recently opened at Whitton Sport and Community Centre with the help of Football Foundation funding.

  • Team Ipswich has undertaken a review of swimming, the health market and community needs within Ipswich with a view to identifying future facility needs within the town including the viability of a new pools complex.

  • Team Ipswich Cycling is working towards providing a purpose built cycling facility for the town.
