Elite Squad

Ipswich has 12 senior international sportsmen and women, and the number is growing.

These are ambassadors for Ipswich, competing nationally, in Europe and in World Class competitions. A package of benefits, developed in association with local businesses, is providing essential support to assist them with the day to day pressures of training and competing.

They include free legal advice, free public transport, priority use and reduced prices on physiotherapy and sports massage and reduced price sports equipment.

Represented Great Britain at the World Archery Championships in Slovakia in 2006.

Competed in the Indoor Home Nations, Outdoor Home Nations, the Euronations, the Europa Cup (on 3 occassions), the European Championships, the World University Games and the World Archery Championships.
