Team Ipswich Elite
Team Ipswich is about supporting and nurturing sports talent in the area.
Three squads - Elite, Emerging and Futures - have been created, to encourage progression through three key levels, from the promising talent in our local schools, to those athletes already representing Great Britain internationally.
The aim is simple. To ensure sports men and women who have the potential to become sporting heroes in 2012 and beyond, don’t miss out through lack of financial or other support.
Ipswich has 12 senior and international sportsmen and women, and the number is growing.
These are Ipswich’s future champions. Thirty to forty boys and girls who are currently competing at national age group level in their sport and have the potential to be the sporting heroes of tomorrow.
The Futures Squad identifies the rising stars in sport locally.
