Rugby sessions are frequently held at Whitton sports centre as part of our holiday activity programme, led by coaches from Ipswich Rugby Club

Joining a club

IPSWICH RUGBY CLUB is one of the oldest clubs in the country. Founded in 1870 it boasts 4 senior sides and a thriving youth section. It’s women’s team, the Scorpions, is also successful. The club welcomes any players male or female, young or old. Call 01473 724072.

IPSWICH YM has a proud pedigree. It’s home is the Sports Ground, Rushmere, Ipswich and provides opportunities for adults. Call 01473 713807.

IPSWICH RHINOS RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB was formed in 1992 and also offers mini rugby to youngsters and their senior side play in the Southern Conference League.

ST JOSEPHS COLLEGE hosts the biggest and best National Schools Rugby festival each year.
