Ipswich Tourist Information Centre and the Blue Badge Tourist Guides have produced a brilliant programme of guided walks to help you discover more about our town.
The sessions are fun, informative, and ideal for 8-12 year olds but others with a genuine interest are welcome to come and join in.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult, who may accompany free of charge.
Numbers are limited so book now at the Tourist Information Centre, St. Stephens Church, St. Stephens Lane to avoid disappointment.

Woody, Suffolk’s most famous bear, from the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, is coming to Ipswich on Wednesday 28th July. He will be visiting the town’s Tourist Information Centre, in St. Stephens Church, St. Stephens Lane from 10.00.
Woody will be at the Tourist Information Centre to send off the first Children’s Guided Walk of the summer holidays (the “Horrible History of Ipswich”) which commences there. Everyone is welcome to come and meet Woody who will also be handing out discount vouchers to all, giving everyone the chance to save money on their visits to Pleasurewood Hills throughout the Summer.

Become an “Eco Detective” and discover rare trees, plants, and all sorts of green spaces right here in the heart of Ipswich.
Visit the site of a renowned botanist's garden and hear about Ipswich's connections with Charles Darwin!
As well as these super themed walks the Ipswich Tourist Guides lead regular walks in the town every Tuesday and Thursday at 2.15pm.
